My main job is to work as a “full stack” IoT developer, making prototypes for agriculture and wildlife conservation. I am excited about how technology can be of help in rural environments. I enjoy developing my technical skills and building devices that have an impact.

Some skills that I use in my position:

  • RF technologies like LoRa and cellular networks

My roles

Agtech Sweden

I am one of the four innovation block leaders of the organization, where we help in the development of innovation projects in agriculture.

Project Ngulia

Wildlife conservation in Ngulia (Kenya) and Sanwild (South Africa). We’re helping the park rangers by developing smart technologies to make their work more effective.

Support for MSc thesis students

I support students in the development of their projects. Especially in prototyping and hardware.

Department of Electrical Engineering (ISY)

At ISY, we conduct research and education in the field of Electrical Engineering. A strong emphasis is placed on research- and industrial collaborations.

Automatic Control (RT)

The activities include problems in sensor fusion, system identification, robotics/autonomous systems, optimization for control applications and complex networks. They aim at a good balance between theoretical developments and industrial applications.

Drone and swarm research at LiU

Drones are transforming how we explore, monitor and collaborate 鈥� in the air, on land and beneath the surface of the water. Research in drones and drone swarms is an interdisciplinary and rapidly growing field.

Center for Heterogeneous Adaptive Swarm Systems - CHASS

A single drone has limited capabilities, but a swarm of drones working as a unit can search large areas, monitor wildfires, deliver supplies in times of disaster, or protect critical facilities. This is the vision of CHASS.
