In my research, I work on how organic residual products can be utilised in a resource鈥慹fficient way and through collaboration across sectoral boundaries. The aim is to to increase biogas production and reduce the use of mineral fertilisers.

Biogas Solutions Research Center

BSRC is a national competence center for biogas research administered by the LiU. It's base for the development of innovative and resource-efficient biogas solutions often with positive local and regional effects on the environment and the economy.

New business models for digestate value extraction and nutrients circultation

We explore new business models to maximise the value of digestate and promote the recycling of nutrients. The project aims to identify key changes needed for more sustainable and profitable management of digestate.

Biogas potential from mechanically sorted organic waste

LiU-researchers in collaboration with Tekniska verken will examine mechanical sorting of residual household waste. Food waste in residual waste could be converted into biogas and be used more efficiently.
